The Ideate Pre-Award Grants application provides a comprehensive electronic management system for the development, submission, review, and management of grants and contracts applications. It facilitates close collaboration of researchers, department administrators, associated research personnel, department heads, Pre-Award Grants staff, and central Research Office officials. Logic-driven application forms guide investigators through applicable requirements based on the attributes of their proposed research. The system automates task assignments and distribution of Pre-Award Grants communications. The application provides Office Management support including Application tracking. The application provides several tools for managing external submissions to sponsors (see Sponsor Submissions). The Pre-Award application is tightly integrated with Ideate’s Post-Award Grants application, as well as the Compliance applications, COI, Funding Opportunities, and Profile Management applications.
